📊 Grade Pull owner

Pull every Schoology gradebook into this dashboard in one click — no CSV downloads, no re-uploads. The data is stored in this browser only and never uploaded anywhere.

🚩 At-Risk Dashboard
① Install the two bookmarklets (one time, ~30 seconds)

Drag each button to your bookmarks bar. They run inside Schoology using your own signed-in session — nothing is sent to SlickWins.

Install these once. When the page updates, the bookmarklets update with it — the drag links always carry the current version, so a re-drag is only needed if you ever started from an older bookmark.

  1. Wait for both labels to read ✅, then drag them to your bookmarks bar (show it with Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + B). A bookmark dragged before the label changes is empty and does nothing.
  2. Open Schoology, then click Setup and tick the classes you teach. Save.
  3. Click Pull whenever you want fresh data — it fetches every ticked class.
  4. Its 📊 Open Grade Pull button brings the data back to this page.
  5. Finished a test? Pull again before you grade — see ②.

Already installed the SlickWins bookmarklets from the dashboard? They work here too — the class list lives in Schoology's storage, not on either site.

Dragging blocked (school PC, managed browser)? Copy the code instead

Create a new bookmark, then paste the code into its URL field. Do it for each button: press the button below, then paste.

② Pull your gradebooks
  1. Click Pull while you're on any Schoology page.
  2. Wait for the green summary (it lists classes, students and grades found).
  3. Click 📊 Open Grade Pull — this page fills in automatically.
  4. Then either 🚩 At-Risk Dashboard to see who needs attention, or send it to a builder (top right): 📊 Send to Marzano → for Geometry's level table, or 🧮 Send to Algebra → for Algebra's category-weighted points, work-shown columns and cumulative recovery.

Tip: pull right after you finish grading a test. Re-pulling replaces what's here, so the dashboard always shows your latest gradebook. Everything below is a snapshot of the last pull — the header tells you when it was taken.

③ Send the results back to Schoology (import bookmarklet)

Once the Marzano builder has your final grades, this drops them into Schoology's own import page — you only review and approve.

    1. In the builder — 📊 Marzano or 🧮 Algebra, same button — press 📤 Send to Schoology. It copies the CSV for the test(s) you have selected _and opens that course's Schoology Import page_ for you, so there is nothing to navigate. (Algebra shows you every changed entry first, then sends.)
  1. On that page, click the Schoology import bookmarklet → Upload & continue.
  2. Still on that page, click the bookmarklet a second time on the Match columns step → Set the mapping → preview. It fills in every dropdown: the student column becomes Unique User ID, and each Final Grade column becomes that assignment if it already exists, otherwise New Assignment.
  3. Check the preview, then click Schoology's own Confirm. That click is always yours — the bookmarklet refuses to act on the confirm step.

Nothing reaches your gradebook before you approve the preview — the bookmarklet attaches the file and moves the wizard along, it never confirms for you.

If Send did not open the page, it says why (usually a pull made before the course id was carried through) — re-drag the bookmarklets here and pull once.

Troubleshooting: nothing happens, or the wrong page opens

1. The drag links do nothing until the label says ✅ — an empty bookmark is silently ignored. Wait, then drag again.

2. A bookmarklet has to be a bookmark. Chrome refuses to run one pasted into the address bar, and a partial copy of a long one fails silently in a confusing way — so if a drag ever produces a dead bookmark, use the copy button instead: create a bookmark and paste the code into its URL field.

3. Bookmarks blocked entirely (managed school browser)? Press Show / copy import code, then paste it into the browser console (F12 → Console, then type allow pasting if Chrome asks) while on the import page.

4. If Schoology redesigns the import wizard, the bookmarklet will say what it could not find — send Hermes that message and it can be updated.

No gradebook here yet

Run the Pull bookmarklet on Schoology, then click 📊 Open Grade Pull. Everything you pull shows up on this page.

Your last pull is saved in this browser (IndexedDB), so the dashboard comes back after a reload — Clear data below is what removes it. Student data stays on this device; nothing is uploaded.
